JCJCs Dual Enroll LPN
program seeks applicants
ELLISVILLE The JCJC Dual Enroll LPN Program is seeking
interested students from all eight counties in the JCJC district to enroll in
this unique program. Students from
Clarke, Covington, Greene, Jasper, Jones, Perry, Smith and Wayne counties who
will be seniors during the 2012-2013 school-year may qualify as a student in
this fast-track LPN program. Students
selected for the program must meet the same admission requirements as the
general student body at JCJC. These
requirements can be found on the JCJC Practical Nursing website at: http://www.jcjc.edu/programs/practicalnursing/index.php
The Dual Enroll LPN Program allows selected applicants to
complete the first semester of the practical nursing program during the
student's senior year in high school. Tuition, books and fees for each selected
applicant are provided by a grant while students are enrolled in high school.
If you are interested in becoming a nurse and you will
graduate from high school in 2013, your attendance with a parent/guardian, is
highly recommended at an informational meeting at JCJC on Tuesday, May 8, at 6
p.m. in the Home and Health Auditorium.
For more information, call the JCJC LPN program at
601-477-4101.
